The CapeCod series watches have a square dial embedded in a rectangular frame. This bold design was proposed by Henrid’Origny in 1991. This watch showcases original fun design and rigorous line appearance. Its avant-garde design has undergone the baptism of time and eventually became a classic icon. In 1998, the watch with the winding double-circle strap was launched with great success. In 2016, the collection introduced a diamond-set dial as well as a choice of lacquered and colorful leather straps. A year later, a matte black DLC (diamond-like carbon) case was launched. Unique style freely expresses individual charm.
This year, the CapeCod collection will showcase its aesthetic proposition by reinterpreting the anchor chain pattern. On a black or white lacquered background, the dial pattern intertwines spinel and aventurine or diamonds with white mother-of-pearl. Modern design and offset logos complement the slim hands and rectangular bezel set with diamonds. AnoPanoGraph uses a red gold case. The hour dial, hour hand, and flyback chronograph hands in the main dial are rose gold, and the second hand is also rose gold. At the center of this ultimate watch is a manual winding movement 61-03 designed by Glashütte. The manual winding timing device in the traditional conversion wheel controls a variety of timing functions, including start, stop, zeroing and flyback functions, and can be reset to zero without stopping first. All these functions can be controlled with two timing buttons on the right side of the dial. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the classic features of the collection and the craftsmanship of the Glashütte movement are clearly visible, including the three-quarter splint decorated with Glashütte’s traditional threads, gold sleeves, balance screws and gooseneck trim.
