The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Series is designed for aviation flight and is world-renowned for providing classic flight styling and the specific functions required by pilots. The brand’s aviation history can be traced back to the US Postal’s first flight mission from Washington to New York, when pilots wore Hamilton watches.
At the Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Show 2017, Hamilton will launch a new khaki series that goes beyond the wind speed automatic chronograph. This watch has a diameter of 45 mm and the case is made of stainless steel with black PVD coating and a black leather strap or stainless steel bracelet.
The new model uses technology that truly sets the watch beyond wind speed: the world’s leading yaw calculator, which enables pilots to accurately calculate and record crosswinds that may be encountered during voyages.
This watch is based on a century-old heritage design. It wears a modern and avant-garde dual calendar display. The sporty dial is decorated with Arabic numerals. The date and day display window is set at 9 o’clock.
Equipped with the H-30 automatic winding movement, it can provide a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
It is reported that the watch sells for 2,150 Swiss francs.
